I just drove out to Vegas in October and it cost me alittle less then 200.00 one way,in a pick-up truck. The first thing I did when I moved there years ago,was to go to the Union and sign up for a job with the casino's Unless you have something else in mind other then working casino's.There are alot of jobs off the strip,so many jobs there, hospitals, receptionist.Anyone can make it in Vegas. As long as you don't have alot of bad habits. If your not driving,a bus ride will cost alittle less, and get there in two days! Oh and I live in Illinois,by St.Louis,Mo.

There are tons of apartments in Las Vegas--and quite a few jobs. Get online and start sending out some resumes. While you are there interviewing, check out the apartments.
Good luck, and I envy you. I love Las Vegas (and I don't even gamble)

You should start by looking up job oppertunities online. Once you have found a few, plan interviews with them. Once that is done look online again for houses/apartments for rent/sale. Then take a week trip out to vegas. While your out there go to your interviews and check out the places you found to live. Return home and follow up on the interviews. Once you have a sercured job you can put you current place up for sale and put a downpayment on a new place in Vegas. pack up you belongings in a UHaul and move out to Vegas.

Pack your car. Go to the post office and forward your mail. Close your bank account unless you use an internet bank.

After you get a place to stay and then start gambling after a month you will be living in your car. After you have to sell your car there are a few Mesquite bushes outside town with others in your same situation find a spot and throw your sleeping bag down and your home.

I would make sure I had a job lined up first. I would check to see if there is an employment agecny that would be able to assist you in that department. Look on line for an agency in that area.
I would be in contact with a realtor to help with housing. They will be able to point you in the right direction.
