Your body will tell you what to do at the right time. Ignore all the advice on a hot curry or whatever. It was suggested to me to sit on a spin dryer when I was pregnant with my first!

In truth what I found was that one day (or night) you find yourself bursting with energy and you end up cleaning the house right through - twice! When you have that energy then you will know that baby is on the way!

I know that the last couple of weeks seem to last forever - but please wait until baby is ready. It shouldn't be your choice, you are just the vessel that is protecting the precious gift.

I ate a really spicy curry, followed by fresh pineapple, exercise on a step machine then sex. My waters broke the following morning and I delivered that day.

Good luck.

Your question is not clear. Why would you want to start it early? The baby will come when he/she is ready. Let your doctor be the judge if there is a medical reason for it to be induced earlier. Don't pull any stupid tricks yourself or you will only endanger yourself or the baby. Good luck!

Vigorous walking! That is what pregnant women being induced are told to do to get the contractions to start and to keep them coming and to make them stronger. Walk, Walk, Walk!!!

If you take notice of the `hot curry` advice, I would hate to be your baby!! Babies come when they are ready to, and any DIY inducements could be dangerous. If the baby is later than it should be, see your doctor, he will have a `safe` way to hurry it along.
