I can't remember what movie this was. A billboard sign slide out from under the bottom and covered the car to block it from the "badguys" that were chasing it... Does anyone have a web reference and or picture?

Not sure about a billboard???
but an AMC Matador — Featured in The Man with the Golden Gun. Francisco Scaramanga and Nick Nack use this car to kidnap Mary Goodnight and make their escape. The vehicle is converted into a 'car plane'; see Aircraft section below.
