1. What news story from the past year caught your attention, the most?
John Mark Carr’s arrest.
Why?
At first I was amazed that after nearly 10 years the Boulder police finally solved the Jon Benet Ramsey murder. Then, it dawned on me that the trail had gone for too cold, and that this may not be the guy. By the time it all played out, I was not surprised that they couldn’t charge him. I still don’t want to move to Boulder, CO as I don’t think that I would feel either served or protected by their police force. (I live about 80 miles south of Boulder…and that’s just fine.)

2. What 2006 movie was the best?
2006 might have had better movies, but the best one that I saw was “World Trade Center.”

3. What tv show, old or new, was your favorite?
2006…I never missed an episode of “Heroes.” Along with that, I watch at least one episode of “Friends” a night while I eat dinner…from DVD.

4. Favorite show on TVland?
I’m still a huge “Diff’rent Strokes” fan.

5. Favorite song? (old or new)
“The Promise” – When in Rome

6. Favorite quote of all time?
“Outside of a dog, books are man’s best friends. Inside of a dog…it’s too dark to read.” -Groucho Marx
