The characters were named Winnie and Nelson Tibideaux, after Winnie and Nelson Mandela.
Darrian Bryant and Donovan Bryant played Nelson Tibideaux in episodes from1988-1989 while Jalese and Jenelle Grays played Winnie Tibideaux.
Winnie was played by Domonique and Monique Reynolds in episodes from 1989-1990 and Nelson was played by Christopher and Clayton Griggs.
