How old is the guy? If he says, "I'm going over Joey's house for a sleepover" and he's 19 or 20, then it doesn't sound gay but it does sound kind of childish. But if he's over there and falls asleep there's nothing weird about that.

As a kid I had sleep overs all the time with my boy friends, when I became a teenager I slept over many of my guy friends house all the time, as a man I sleep at a few of my guy friends or men friends home or apartments when I'm in town to save hotel or motel money and go out with them for drinks or a night on the town, nothing gay about it enjoy urself unless u r thinking about doing something else with ur "guy" friends who may be "boyfriends", then it's obviously gay. Hmmmmm?

When I attended summer camp as a child and later as a counselor when I was teenager many years ago, such camps were referred to as "overnight camps". Years later I found one of my younger friends referring to them as "sleepover camps". The point is that words and phrases used to refer to things change all the time. Why get so hung up and uptight about them? Shakespeare had it right when he said,
"What's in a name? That which we call a rose
By any other word would smell as sweet."

Depends. Will you actually be doing the traditional sleepover things like; doing each others hair? Making prank phone calls? Holding a flash light under the covers and telling spooky stories and giggling all night? What fun you two macho boys will have recalling your corporate meeting over the week-end. Sleepover...................ya, right!

No, not necessarily. You're sleeping over a friend's house, and that's the word that you chose to use. It's no big deal.
If you call it a slumber party, that would be kinda gay, but if you called it a "booty call," that would be super gay.

Yeah that sounds gay. Just say you "crashed" at the friend's house...much less gay.

it's a sleepover if you're under like 16 years old. If you're older than that you are 'crashing' at your friends house.
