and the Austrians and the Germans were not? The English against the Irish, The French and the Serbians. South Africans and the Dutch against the Africans.
As a rule Grassy would say no but there have been some individual instances that would prove me wrong. Justifications for actions always have their spins put upon them

You can't say generally that Americans are racists, sure, some are. Racists are people with narrow minded views who think skin colour matters, this happens globally, not just in America

Just like you will have racist Europeans, there are certainly racist Americans. I like to believe I am not a racist. You can't group everyone in America in to a certain category, just like you can't group Europeans into a category.

Like any other culture we have our good and our bad. Not ALL Americans are racist. We're going through a political drama right now thats trying to bring about a change in the status of illegal immigrants in our country, so you'll hear alot about minorities. But I'm American and there's not one bit of prejudice within me.

I'm sick and tired of these racists living in my country, going to our non-racist schools and taking all the jobs that should be for us decent, non-discriminatory Americans.
They should make all the racists ride in the back of the bus.

I have lived in many places around this world...and I find Americans no more racist than everybody else. Even people who do not recognize it in themselves have a racial preference...and not always for their own race.
At the same time, more tolerance exists in the world today (even in the USA) than people recognize.

I am not american, but I live here in Nevada. As I can see not all of them are racist and fortunately i haven't encountered one. They are good people.. well some of them.
