Well one of my friends sisters had one and it said in her book it will take 4 hours. And a little light will change to red when it was completely charged, but yours is probably different from hers. I would consult your manual that came with it that is if your IPod came with a manual.

It depends on the model and what generation the iPod is. For mine, a color screen 30GB, the first-time full charge is about 8 hours. Not sure about the Shuffle or Nano. Otherwise, shouldn't be more than 3 for RE-charging, but it's usually less.

Depends on the Ipod, probably. For my old school Ipod Nano, for every minute it's charging I get something like 2.5 minutes of charge, up to 4 hours of battery... so I'd say maybe 1.5 h, 2h?
