Is it diarrhea? or is it just mushy poop? They are 2 VERY different things and in a baby that age could mean a huge difference. Diarrhea needs to be treated with lots of fluids. Pedialyte is the best for that to keep them hydrated. If its just mushy poop, its fine.

A baby who poops at every feeding is not experiencing diarrhea necessarily. Both breast milk and formula have a high water content so a solid bowel movement is not produced when the baby is exclusively fed breast milk or formula. If bowel movements are also accompanied by an extreme amount of gas, lots of crying, fussiness, and pain, then there may be a reason for concern. It is extremely rare for an exclusively breast fed baby to have diarrhea or constipation. Formula fed babies may develop a sensitivity to one brand of formula and a switch to something else usually clears up the problem. Occasionally babies require a soy-based formula. A baby's digestive system is developing and maturing and may go through bouts of upset. This is common and usually is outgrown. If your daughter is growing, seems happy, and healthy then frequent bowel movements are probably just how her system is.

I think the doctor is right. My daughter did the same thing. Also, baby poop is not like adult poop, it's thinner, more loose and if you're breastfeeding it's an orange color and it looks like there are seeds in it.

I think everything is fine. You're doing a good job. Keep it up and congrats on your new baby!

I THINK I REMEMBER MY DAUGHTER BEING LIKE THAT TOO, BUT AS THEY GET OLDER AND START EATING DIFFERENT FOODS THEIR POOP WILL GET HARDER, AND SMELLIER TOO. LOL CONGRATULATIONS
