1) s^2=64/121
s=+/-8/11
2) v^2= 16/49
v=+/-4/7

s=the square root of 64/121=8/11

v^2=16/49
v= the square root of 16/49=4/7

1. s^2-(64/121)+(64/121)=0+(64/121)
s^2 = 64/121
s = sqr(64/121)
s = sqr(64) / sqr (121)
s = 8 / 11

2. v^2 = 16/49
v = sqr (16/49)
v = 4/7

I showed all the steps for #1. 2 is the same, I just didn't show all the steps. You should.
