Well, you can't get to england in a rowboat, but a titanic for two people is overkill. So you probably need to find a suitable port for your size boat. (You can't dock a paddleboat in a yacht club). But, like someone else said, if you are in love, neither the boat nor the ocean will matter two craps if the two people are just happy to be at sea.

It shouldnt matter as long as you are with someone you love you can work at different techniques and positions to find what suits any shape and size of ship to float your boat
