My mind is not intoxicated.
It does get exhilarated though when I swim in the ocean, when I listen to my favorite music, when I look down from the mountain peak I have climbed, when I eat my favorite meal dessert included, when I lay down to sleep in my own bed after being awake for a long time and so many other little things help to keep my mind sparkly and shiny.

Literature. I read every night just before going to bed...and sometimes I just can't sleep. I lie in bed and dwell on the things that I have read. I imagine myself in the position of the hero/heroine and wonder what I would do in their position. I speculate on what turn the story will take. Sometimes I bug myself so much that I have to get up and read some more.
I have tried switching times for reading...but if I get up early and read then I have no motivation to go to work. If I start earlier in the evening, than I will read all night up to my bed time. So I have established the habit of picking up a book at 8:30 pm and reading until 10:00 pm.
