Good Morning America had 2 really good segments about working from home. There should still be links on their website. When I looked at the links, it was further down on their front web page, toward the bottom. The articles will link you to reputable work at home sites. Good luck.

Hi,
if you wanna earn real money from home, here's something where you can sign up for free as an affiliate and promote online as well as offline:
look for the Allsat link in the sources below!
For every new satellite dish you give away you receive a whopping $110. They have a very dedicated affiliate support and you receive many free resources to get you kickstarted. No outlay here. Work with a real and reputable company.
Sell only 10 per month and you can buy yourself some nice dinners. ;-)
If you would like to earn nice pocket money and selling is not your thing I suggest to take a look at the second link below.
Best wishes
Mike
P.S. Yes, I already earned some money with them!
P.P.S. Using the internet you can actually do this from anywhere in the world.

www.guru.com I just posted info about this site in a post a few down from yours. I would try searching in Yahoo Answers for similar questions....this question is constantly asked about. But, I would suggest checking out, www.guru.com for freelance work. Other than that, I am a Mary Kay Consultant on the side. I love it. What I like about Mary Kay is that I can work it however much I want. At one point, I was half way to earning my first car in the company, and right now, I do it around my fulltime job just parttime. It's great. I'm sure other people have had success at other things as well.

Honestly, if you have a few hundred dollars that you can invest in a home-based business, you would probably do a lot better than merely 'working from home'.
Almost anything that will provide you with REAL MONEY is going to involve selling ("promoting yourself") - whether it is Avon or daycare service or your homemade cookies or your typing services. Please be aware of this - - - taking a course for something like medical transcribing or web design is only the start - you need to find customers for your services.
There are many opportunities out there that let you sign up for free, or for $39.95, but then you have to buy lots of inventory to get started, etc. etc.
If you don't have the cash right now to invest in a business or buy supplies, I'd suggest you do what you can to sell unwanted things on ebay - or on Craigslist.org - scrape together what money you can while studying the opportunities out there. Many, many products are sold through network marketing - ask yourself "would I buy this product/service if I wasn't getting it at a wholesale price" and MOST important: "Would I be proud to tell my friends and neighbors that I am selling this product/service"?
Best of luck to you - there are great possibilities out there, but the days of stuffing envelopes and assembling toys at home, two famous scams from years ago, are (hopefully) over!
