Character is how you think and how you act upon your thoughts. Other people can judge your character by actions, words, and body language. Those who know you the best judge your character by what you tell them, and how you think. Character makes a greater impact on what we achieve, and then again what we lose. It is a part of society that is inevitable, and needs to be checked on. People want people with good character, good rowk ethic, and such that can be good in both personal relationships and business relationships.

I agree with the old proverb that, your character is what you do when no one is watching. This is a true way to judge your own character weather it be good or bad. When I decided to put this into use, I found myself doing some appalling things and having to truly evaluate who I am and who I want to be.

In my view, character speaks to individuality...how you choose to be seen by the rest of the world. A man builds his character, using all he has learned from the world around him.

How a person acts when faced with difficulties. Do you do the easy thing, do you follow the crowd, or do you stand up for your principles even if this makes you unpopular.
That is 'Character'.

Character is your morals, your compassion, your determination, your courage, etc, all the stuff that aids your decision making processes. (As opposed to personality traits - like funny, witty - all the superficial shop window stuff you first see in a person)
