on average i get my period around every 38 days in that case i'm 28 days late. My last period was Oct 22. I'm not regular but the latest i have ever been was last year around this time 23 days late, and i ended up getting my period. However me and my husband have been trying for the last 3 months and now today i am 36 days late. Last thursday the doctor took a urine test and it was neg. and then i got blood test and today i found out it was neg too. The Dr wont be in until Jan.10 so i have to suffer not knowing what the hell is wrong with me until then. Has any one had any thing like this? I'm 19, my breasts are really sore, my nipples are always really hard and they hurt. I've gained weight, i'm always neausous, i've been eating more than usual, i've been having horrible headaches, my back is killing me, for the last week i haven't been sleeping very well, i've been moodier than usual, i've been peeing over 6 times a day. Please if anyone has heard of something like this please help!!

calm down...let your body relax....you may be pregnant and your hcg levels may be low...did the doctor do a physical exam or just the blood and urine. your dates are seriously the same as mine. down to cycle and i was 16 days late, once i actually was able to get an appt. with my regular obg i think my body relaxed enough to let nature take its course...i know that you really can't calm down, but that is the best advice i can give you. either you are or you arn't. there is nothing that can be done until the 10th when you see the dr. again. it could be pcos. it could be stress... just try and stay focused on the big prize. eat well and take care of yourself...good luck. let us know what your outcome is...

Hi!! I would recommend you looking into PCOS. Your symptoms sound exactly like what I was having when I went to see my doctor. She ran some blood tests and said that my testosterone levels were very high and that was a sign on PCOS (Polycyctic Ovary Syndrome) it is really much less scary than it sounds. All it is, is when testosterone levels in a womans body get so high interupts the period cycle. There is a combo of meds that you will have to take for about 6 months and then they will do another blood screening to see if the levels are normal. Mine became normal after the first 6 month cycle. Talk to you doctor about it. There are many websites on the topic aswell. Check out WebMD, it has a lot of great advice and questions to ask your doctor. Best of Luck!!

Well I am sorry but if the blood test is neg then you are 99.9% not preg. ( If you are you are like 1 in a million) The hormone in your urine can be neg. when you are still preg but if the blood test is neg then it is safe to say that you need to look for other answers than pregnancy.I am so sorry!! You need to talk to your doc about this ( if you do not get your period then it means something is causing you to not ovulate. He needs to fix that before you can get preg. ( he will just give you some pills and if that is all that is wrong then you should be preg. VERY soon) I am sorry but you need to just face the fact that this month is not your month and wait for the doc. to tell you what he wants to do now to induce your period so you will ovulate to be able to get preg.!!

Good Luck

I hear of this all the time.

Its call a skipped period(s).

Your hormones get screwy when your skip, and cause all sorts of prolonged PMS symptoms, which is all what you have discribed.
