i love my boyfriend so much we have been together for six months now. he is older than i am but that doest matter the thing is i didnt get him a present but he did actually am not so good with presents and those kind of stuff i had told him that and he like he understood but after he talked to his mum he is complaining and saying i dont think about him and i dont appreciate him but that is not true at all i was with him the whole of xmass time.so is it that bad not to give a present please help???

You were with him all the time. That is a good enough present. Explain it to him that being together is the best present. He will understand. Instead buy a gift for his mom.

Well, just because it's Christmas doesn't mean you HAVE to get someone a gift....but he is your BOYFRIEND! Unless you guys had talked ahead of time and both agreed to not get each other anything, or you didn't have any money and he understood that...it IS kind of bad that you didn't get him anything. You shouldn't get him something because you HAVE to though...you should get him something becauses you WANT to and means something to you. It is too bad though that he seemed to understand until his mom got mad...

well..it was christmas and somehow christmas is about giving gifts..so i guess he expected one from you! But you know even if it may sound dorky or anything if he really loves you your company is already enough. I can't blame you coz i think buying gifts for someone is really hard. You have to think hard core what he likes and you can get paranoid about what he would react to your gift. But i guess to make up to him you should give him something special this coming Valentines

It's simple to select some kind of gift for someone that you truly care about, all you have to do is be paying attention when you are with them.
Women are always saying that men don't listen, the same can be said of them too.
