Why can't I cry when I need to let such emotions out? I'm 16 and I've been going through some of the biggest changes since I was born. I'm so emotional I thought I was going burst, but instead I just began to panic and feel like I need to get out of my skin.

You are either heartless or you somehow see the need to keep it all inside to "be a man".

Maybe your body just isn't ready to cry yet. Try thinking about your troubles in an intellectual manner. Put together a plan for working through it to the best of your ability. The emotions, when the time is right, will come later. Don't rush yourself.

As a man you must be able to hold your emotions. If not, cry in the privacy of your room. I'm sure that being 16 is not the easiest thing in the world, but there are many bigger obsticals to face in this world.

Do not panic. The same happens frequently to a lot of people... It comes with the age. instead of wondering these senseless things and being entertaining these ideas, go out with friends and enjoy life! dont worry, you'll cry again

Personally, from one psychologist to another, I think you need to cry. This sounds trite, but the next time something gets you really down, conjure up a sad day when you DID cry and maybe those tears will finally fall. Don't worry, you'll stop when you get it out.

Never bottle up any negative emotions, it can have serious implication on your psychological well-being, crying is just one of the ways to relief one self from negative feelings like sorrow, grief, sadness or fear. when you gotta cry, just do it. its better than bottling it up and then it becomes unmanageable and in the end you will end up hurting yourself even more or worse the others around you.

Chuck Norris has this same issue, sadly he has never cried before and his tears cure cancer.

For you however you might not have enough tears in the tear duct formed some or you won’t allow yourself subconsciously to cry. Many people don’t cry it’s natural in some people. Don’t hold it against yourself.

Because "guy's don't cry" is probably the message you've heard all your life.

I cried last night in my bed (cause I was alone and didn't have a woman in it!).

It's okay to cry!! It's like window washing fluid for the soul!!!!
