Does anyone remember "Rude Ralph"?

I'm curious to how popular he was. Also do you know if he was marketed as a children's toy or an adult novelty?

he was marketed to children but, there was a huge outcry from parents complaining that he encouraged less than wholesome attitudes in their kids. Rude Ralph was marketed heavily for about a year but never really caught on. he was just another 80's fad.

Rude Ralph

Evil green monster head made by Matchbox. You could yank his eyeball out on a string and he would produce sounds such as belch, fart, etc.
