Has to be Vince Young. He is solely responsible for the Titans recent hot streak. All the other teams could have won without those other rookies, but Tennesse would have no chance without Vince.

As a New England Patriots fan, I would like L. Maroney to get the Rookie of the Year award, but that will not be possible this year. The Rookie award should go to Vince Young. Vince has given his team the Titans a major boost this year, and he deserves the award. If you remember back to the Titans/Giants game, the Titans were losing 0-21 in the 4th quarter, but because of QB Vince Young, they made 3 touchdowns to tie up the game and then a FG to win it. That was a crazy game, and it couldn't be accomplished without the help of Vince Young. Vince Young deserves the 2006 NFL Rookie of the Year award.

to one of the other answers...gore is a second year player....colston deserves some attention but he missed a few games same for maroney and addai...vince young is probably going to win it and there is a strong argument for him...he has posted good numbers for a rookie who was said to be a few years away from starting...he has beaten several good teams...jones-drew if you take away his 2 games against indy...he only has 1 100 yd game and 1 98 yd game...he only had more than 15 carries in 3 games all year...so young has done the most this year on offense anyway

It should be Colston, but his injury earlier in the season might have ended his chances to get the award. If I had to pick from the rest of the bunch, I'd have to go with Vince Young. That kid has great potential once he realizes that he doesn't have to always run the ball.

Youngs got the hype and will probably get it, but I am rooting for Colston though...its so hard for a rookie WR to contribute to a playoff caliber team these days.

I would say either V Young or Jones-Drew...Young will prob win it...the way he turned around the Titans is amazing
Defense ROY will be Demeco Ryans from the Texans

vince young..he took a team from total hopelessness to a having a little but of pride...and he is like a version of micheal vick WITH the abitlty to pass, mobiliity and sccuracy from the pocket. Take his game against the **wince..im a giants fan** giants, for example..
