I am a Chinese man coming from Hong Kong. "Are you OK?" is commonly used here, but in HK, there is only one meaning, OK for sex? Does the English people also have the same implication?

Is this a stupid question so nobody wants to answer?

No, it doesn't mean that. It's just checking on the health / wellbeing of someone. Thus, if you fell over and then immediately got up, I would ask "Are you okay?", just to make sure you weren't badly injured, and could carry on. I would never want to have sex with you, I'm straight!

The expresion OK (or Okay) is used here in the UK either to agree with someone (which is maybe where the consent part can be confused) for example if my daughter was to say to me "mum can I stay out late tonight" - my response could be "OK" - giving consent. (though it is more likely to be no!)

OK is also used as previously described to check on wellbeing - "are you ok?"

OK can also be used to express that a message has been understood - during a conversation (perhaps over the telephone) if the caller is giving an important message, the person receiving the call may say "OK" to confirm they have understood the instruction.

OK can be used to admit defeat - for example if people are arguing and the argument is going on and on and on...one may say..."ok ok" - a signal that they give up

hope this helps you to avoid getting the wrong signal - OK?
