The worms he uses are real. you can see them move. they are washed to get rid of soil and other diseases.
yes it is gross but it was Boogeyman who suggested the idea to Vince McMahon and he loved it. so tahst what happened. Boogeyman does not acutualy eat teh worms either,he just puts them in his mouth and spits them back out (usulay on his opponent) this looks like is "requrqitating" them as Cole and JBL has often said

From what I know, as others have said above. Those are real worms. I wouldn't do it, but I guess the guy really likes what he does. If he only knew how to wrestle, it would complete his character.

Probably real ones. If you clean them real good, worms can be safely eaten. It just takes a leap of faith to do it.

they are real worms but they are probably washed very well and they probably put fake dirt in to make it edible. but the worms are for real

they are really living worms. no fakes, as proved by micheal cole in february. however, they are washed to rid dirt and other viruses. so it is like eating mushy grass. he is as gross as you believe.

They're real. And I'm sure they have them cultivated or something to make sure they're completely safe.
However, that will always be seriously gross.

The worms that the "Boogeyman" uses are "real"..... because fake ones don't move...... period! (and his do move).
