I just say it like it is
if I see my girl I will say
I love the smell of your hair
I love the smoothness of your skin
I love the dimples on your cheeks
etc, etc

I had a boyfriend that switched from I love you to love ya. It was a death knell for the relationship. The first time I heard him say it, I knew he was lying and no longer loved me at all. We are so over.

I say i love you or love you. love you can be used if you want to play it safe even though i do not see the significance of wanting to play it safe.

well if you are in a relationship and you aren't sure if you are in love, then don't say it.It isn't fair to the other person and if you are in love then by all means say " â¥i love youâ¥" its great to hear and the feeling of love in return is beyond words

for me i like "i love you" it's 1-classic 2-long enough to enjoy my ears hearing every character than "love ya". 3-every time when i hear it in romantic movie i feel happy because it reminds me with my baby ;).

I would say either one ONLY if I meant it...I see it as saying I love you, just more casual. It means the same thing to me...
