I went to the doctor the first time it was late and he checked me out and I was fine. Now I have been late three months in a row. If am late can I still have a baby since my period is irregular?

I would go back to your doctor and have him run some simple blood tests to check your hormones. I have PCOS and I do not get a period unless I am on birth control pills. So you might have PCOS and it's easily diagnosed by a doctor even with other symptoms associated with it. Good luck and I hope all goes well!

If youre late the same amount of time each cycle, then you're not actually late, you have a new longer cycle. Your body will change your cycle from time to time.

The only time its irregular is if one month youre late 5 days, thenext your late 2 weeks, and so on. But if each month you're 3-5 days late, then thats your new cycle.

So long as you're ovulating, which in most cases you always will be, you can get pregnant. If you peruiods really are irregular, its just harder to know what day you're ovulating because its often a different day each cycle.

Then again, some women with regular cycles dont ovulate on the same day of each cycle.

just have sex and get pregnant. It really can be that easy.

YES! It's just harder to get pregnant (when trying to) and it's harder to track a due date. You'll probably need an internal ultrasound during the 1st trimester to get the due date and gestational age. I am VERY irregular! I would skip a month here, then have a period for 2 weeks there, then go a week and get it again.....all over the place! I am now pregnant with my second baby!! It will haopen! Also, some women with ovulation problems can get put on medications to help conceive (my friend is on one now and she said she's regular now, so it makes tracking SO much easier) she's been trying for about 4 months now, so not long. It will probably happen for her AND you! Good Luck!!

You should probably go see your doctor. Only he can tell you if this is normal for your body weight and lifestyle or if it's something to be concerned about.
