Its like crack tv! I have always watched 24 on dvd, one episode after the other until I literally couldnt keep my eyes open any longer. Just when you say you will go to bed after this episode something great happens at the end and you just have to watch the next one only for the same thing to happen again!
Season 6 will be the first time I will be watching it on tv. I dont know how I am going to cope watching it weekly!!

I started watching 24 on A&E a couple of months ago - right before it changed from season 5 reruns to season 1 reruns. Talk about confusing! That transition took a few days to muddle through and make sense of.
The day after Thanskgiving Target had seasons 1,2 and 3 for $16/each. By the time I got there - they only has 1 &2 left. I've finished them, just in time - again Target (I love that store) with their day after Christmas sale had seasons 3,4 &5 for $25/each.
I'm half way through season 3. I keep saying "just one more episode. It's a tightly written, addicting show. While the level of violence does bother me - I know it is pretty central to the employment of Jack Bauer.
But, I'm addicted just the same.

24's cliffhangers are brutal, and I cannot imagine watching the show weekly. My wife and I do the same thing; we wait until the season is released on dvd and we knock it out it big chunks over two or three days. The only problem is that when you do it this way that damn theme song stays in your head for about a week and a half.

A while back someone had the idea of making 24 a drinking game- every time that Jack Bauer yells "NOW!" you drink. You'll be on your *** in no time
