Wondering if it is legal for a home owner association to post a bulitin that we are late on our payments and we are being sued or is that suppose to be confidential

I would say that it is in poor taste but the suit is a matter of public record.

You may want to ask a lawyer, as suggested, but I would strongly suspect that the association are well within their legal rights to do this. A condo association is effectively a partnership with rules & expectation its members must meet, if you are failing to comply it is in the interests of all other memebers to know that!

It is legal if they have already filed a lien against your property. Then it's a public record, at least as far as you being late on your payments. I'm not sure on the fact of you being sued, but it may be - it'll definitely be public knowledge on the day you go to court.
