I love watching The Simpsons in my spare time, but can't help but notice some of the new episodes are just getting rediculous now.. I think the writers are running out of ideas..
How long before they die off..? Any bets?

I did like watching the simpsons but now its really crazy and mostly gross stuff. i think the writers are running out of stuff! Hate to say it but i kind of wish the show would die off...but then Fox would just show reruns over and over so i am not to sure which would be better? i give it about 1 more year before it dies off....(if even that)

There is a film comming out for the Simpsons soon. It would be nice if it was really good and ended the series on a high. Tied up some loose ends perhaps.
However I think the writers really enjoy what they do and also want to make the Simpsons the longest running comedy programme. (I think they can beat certain US sitcoms if they do a few more series).
I think one of the series will have some sort of ending but it wont be that soon (perhaps a couple of years as already mentioned) and wont be that good. >.<

I think it ends at the end of this contract in like 2 or 3 seasons. If they don't make it better soon as they really do seem to be losing it. Although they have gone through these slumps before so they may get it back. The writers are proably focusing too much on the movie.

i agree they are gettin lame , i bet they will go on for a while longer especially with their new movie in 2007 we'll see how that goes.

Yeah the eppisodes are going bad now... i think it will end soo because family guy and southpark are begining to take over...
