Saltwater angelfish cannot be kept with catfish, as catfish are fresh water fish. There are freshwater angels, they come from South America and are members of the cichlid family, they can live quite happily with catfish.

angel fish ae freshwater tropical fish. Don't let the word "tropical" throw you off. They are able to because a teacher of mine hadtwo angel fish with a cory catfish. But you have to have fish as big as the angel fish because they will literaly eat everything smaller than itself exept for bottem feeders.

Catfish and angelfish do get along, so do corydoras (corycats) and pleco's (sucky fish). None of these are saltwater fish. I currently have all of these fish in my 125 gallon fish tank.
