How much of a factor was the WEAK "defensive pass interference" rule on the amount of TD's Peyton and Daunte threw that year?

i think that the record will be broken again more than once. the nfl like other sports wants scoring, and they will continue to tweak the rules from time to time to ensure that offenses prosper.

If Colt Brennan can throw for 58 TDs in college (I know its different but still) then someone can def break Peyton's mark...who knows who it will be...I'm sure it'll stand for a good number of years first.

I think it might be a long time before that record is broken, but why not. You never know what the next great QB will do.

it wont be for a few years, btu the rules are always changing, and i have a feling vince young will be oue new touchdown king.
