It's completely normal to have all those feelings going into a new relationship. Taking the risk is part of the fun, there is no guarantee in any kind of relationship that it will work out.

It's perfectly natural. Use your powers of percpeption regarding the new one, have confidence in yourself and your own strengths and skills; see if he or she appreciates them....take it slowly and cautiously with your feelings, if you can...
