Your system is infected with Adware and will keep on showing popups. You can use one of the following softwares to remove the adware. It will also be better for your system to go to the microsoft website and reinstall IE after you have removed the adware.

Uber powerful tool which can search and annhilate nasties that make it onto your system. Now with an Immunize section that will help prevent future infections.

Another very powerful tool which searches and kills nasties that infect your system. AdAware and Spybot Search & Destroy compliment each other very well.

Great prevention tool to keep nasties from installing on your system.

Works as a Spyware "Shield" to protect your computer from getting malware in the first place.

puts over 5000 sites in your restricted zone so you'll be protected when you visit innocent-looking sites that aren't actually innocent at all.

Cleans temporary files from IE and Windows, empties the recycle bin and more. Great tool to help speed up your computer and knock out those nasties that like to reside in the temp folders.

That's a glitch in IE7. Some people can live with it, most can't. My best suggestion is to uninstall IE7 and let it revert back to IE6. Later next year, the bugs will be out of IE7 but right now, it's hard to live with. To uninstall, click on Start, Settings, Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs and the Show updates at the top. Then the list loads, scroll down until you find IE7, and click to remove. After removal, close Control Panel and restart the computer. It will revert back to IE6 and I think your problem will be gone.

You have two choices. Go to the default security settings or higher, or live with the messages.

Unless you are an expert -- engineering level -- you should stick with the default security levels or higher. Then again, I make a TON of $$$ sorting things out for users who THOUGHT they knew what they were doing.

This action usually originates in Windows Messenger....I'm not sure about IE7 ...I use firefox!
You can disable Windows Messenger as I have ...it's useless anyway!

Start>Settings>Control panel>administrative tools>Services...scroll down till you see "Messenger" and disable.
This should stop the pop up!

Perhaps you should just read that warning carefully and heed it. Seems like you are running with lower then default security.

You must enjoy removing worms, viruses, trojans and other assorted malware from your computer?
