My Christmas was very good. It was what I expected and a little more. I saw family and friends, got some time off from work and ate just a bit more than I should have. I also heard from friends I hadn't heard from in years.
My wife and I drove to my mother's house, about 5 hours away. We had a wonderful time. We've been married a little more than a year, and she and my family get along well.
I'm very thankful. I couldn't have asked for much more.

well.....I think the Christmas holidays change as you grown older. It becomes more about spending time with those you love and less about the gifts and exchanging of gifts. So ...my holiday season was very very nice. Christmas Eve was spent going to church services and enjoying the holy quiet moments. My children 13 and 10 were up early on Christmas morning and we opened our gifts slowly instead of the huge rush to get through everything. They were satisfied with what they received even though it was less than we used to give them. They truly appreciated the fact that we were together and when their older sister, 19, came home, they were excited about just seeing her open her gifts. The afternoon was spent with my in-laws as my parents are both deceased. That too was lovely as we all just sat around and talked and enjoyed each other's company.
At the end of the day though , I was happy it was over. Not in a bad way, just glad that as a family we had gotten through it and that it was over.

It was good. I got a vacuum cleaner from my parents, which I really wanted. I didn't know exactly what kind to ask for and my dad picked out a good one. Also, I was a little sad a week ago because this was the first Christmas I was going to be single in four years. I got out of a serious relationship last August and have been a little depressed since. Turns out, Christmas was a lot more fun without him! I got to spend a lot more time with my family (because I didn't have to leave to go visit his family like all the other years) and I got to play a lot more with my nieces and nephew.

Normal holiday with my family... Little better with my husbands family, first time we had seen most of his family in 10 yrs.... so it was nice... I wasnt let down, just feel like I let my kids down because funding was a little low this year.. gifts were not like they had been over the past few years. The kids didnt seem to notice though.. just me.

Well, at first I was by one person. I was abused by my step-dad, more like a step-monster. Anyway, my mom and him got a divorce and he wants her back so he got my brother and me christmas presents. Well my brother got a laser gun nd a five dollar gift card all i got was (at first) a 5 dollar gift card. I was mad that he could be such a jerk even though I knew he could. Well turns out he got my brothers card mixed up with mine. Well, turns out I was supposed to get 25 dollars instead of 5.
