If you can get to other web sites successfully but NOT a particular one, the equipment hosting that site may be down.

so your computer connects to the internet but you can't get to any webpages? your best bet is going to be to call tech support for whoever your internet service provider is and let them walk you through some trouble shooting steps. it could be something simple or it could be something complicated and without looking at those things, it's going to be difficult to tell what exactly it is. looking over these answers here, some of this is skipping some very basic trouble shooting steps. give them a call while you're in front of your computer and they'll be able to get you going. good luck.

You should check another website and see if that is working, then you should go back to the website you want to see. If that doesn't work, that website you want to see must be not working or the publisher might be renewing it.

Enable automatically assign IP address in TCP/IP properties on your connection. If that is already done go to command prompt and type ipconfig -release hit enter, ipconfig -renew. If that still doesnt work reboot your machine and unplug power to your modem for a minute and plug it back in. Repeat the release/renew process after that.
Try pinging a website in command prompt and then ping 127.0.0.1- if that comes back bad then you need to reinstall your tcp/ip stack..

taiwan earthquake.. so connection will be affected..it was in the news.. ..starhub and singnet is making backup connection...
if u r reside in singapore..LOCAL WEBSITE u will be able to access.. overseas website..cant
