Knowing how to do a trick is not the same as being a magician. You still have to 'sell' the trick- a good trick is a small play- an introduction, the action, a climax, and a denoument.
This video shows the use of a gimmick called a 'pull'. It is a limited way to accomplish something- it takes some set-up and it is a one-shot deal without a reset.
REAL magic can accomplish the same thing in better ways. I could vanish that pen cap, and make it reappear where I want it- no pull, short sleeves (or nude), no preparation... only skill and practice.
Magic is cool... but too many wannabes are just showing tricks in a mediocre way. Please don't add to the problem.

Great. You revealed a trick that looks great and many magicians use, but there is nothing in there about performance, about making the trick make sense, how to do a good double lift, etc. Teaching the mechanics alone is not teaching magic, any more than teaching a person how to pose on stage is acting.
