Hmm, it could be just the make-up your using, so you could try shopping around for different types, or consult someone in your local shop.

But a few other tips that i've been given if you want to stick with what you have or have no luck with other brands:

Try applying a thin layer of moisteriser before you put on your foundation, then apply your foundation, and then finish with powder foundation. This can make the foundation 'stick' to your skin better, however do let the moisteriser 'sink' into your skin and almost dry before you put on your foundation.

Supposidly mousse foundations are also good at staying on all day so maybe invest in one of these.

As for eyeshadow, i find applying a liquid eyeshadow first and then powder over the top helps 'stick' the powder to your eyes. I have just a very pale liquid eyeshadow which i then layer with darker powdered eyeshadow.

You can also create nice blended effects with this technique as you can put more liquid eyeshadow close to your eye and less fading out so more eyeshadow stays closest to your eye and then fades up and out.

Apart from that you have to avoid touching your face and eyes alot during the day. It seems obvious but I did this alot without being aware of it and even just lightly touching your face can take off makeup if the room temperature is right. So try and take notice of what you do and avoid touching your face alot.

Maybe Its The Make Up You Have When It Comes To Foundation. Try A New One With Loose Powder. It Helps With Shine Too. And As For Eyeshadow Ive Had The Same Problem. Try Useing A Liquid Then A Solid Over It. Or Getting The Solid Brush A Little Damp. =) Hope It Helps.

I face the same situation daily. What I do is wash my skin and start fresh. Then take Cover Girl's loose powder, you can buy this at any drug store *although it's cheaper at Walmart* and then take a small brush and apply it to your eye lids and all around. Make sure you get a tone that matches your skin tone. Then you would apply your eyeliner *if you wear eyeliner*. Then brush on a little more loose powder. This helps keep the eyeliner from smearing also. Then apply your eyeshadow and mascara. As for foundation, if you have to wear it, I would suggest the new 'mouse matte' or something like that. Then get rice papers, and blot your face when needed. It takes the oil off without taking off too much foundation. Good luck and I hope this helps!!!! If you need any more make up tips let me!!!!

For the eyeshadow: Get an eyeshadow base (some good ones are from Mary Kay) apply that first then the powder eyeshadow over it. The color will hold and be more vibrant all day.

For the foundation: Always start with a face cleanser and moisturizer. Next apply your liquid foundation. Then apply a power foundation over top, it will seal and protect the foundation and your skin.

you need a base to keep your eyeshadow + foundation on...try these steps..

1. Moisturizer - this makes your skin smooth and it is easier to apply make up evenly. Try to find an oil free one

2. Liquid Foundation - If u have sensitive/oily skin use one that's water based like Maybeline Pure...if your skin dries out and is NOT sensitive you could use something that is oil based but I don't recommend it. Powder foundations are good if you have very oily skin otherwise they may make you look chalky.

3. Powder - Use a brush- it is much easier and looks smoother

4. Eyeshadow - a good trick is to apply a light shadow over the whole lid and then apply a dark shade in the crease and then a light gold on the brow bone to highlight.

If it still gets messed up, try using a primer before your foundation :)

Hope that helps!!...xx

the best way to secure eyeshadow is to put on a matching color eyeliner underneath it example (plum eyeliner under plum shadow). If there arent any coordinating shades available try plain white. i do this and my eye shadow stays put all day.

as for foundation i agree with previous answers, use loose powder to set it.

Put on a base b4 you put on your eyeshadow----the powder will stick to the base instead of falling off your skin---cover up usually works well on the eyes and underneath them for bags
