I work with someone who rarely has anything good to say about their other half and wonder why on earth they are together. And why I have to listen to it. Can I just tell them to get a divorce or shut up?

No, I do believe that would be the point of divorce. If you are constantly complaining then there is something wrong in your marriage. Everyone has problems in their marriage. It's never easy and there is always those "bad" days. However, there should be more good than bad days. Sounds like you are heading for divorce. I am so sorry and wish you the best. Good luck and GOD bless.

The point of marriage is to have a soulmate for life.
We said that we would have a trial marriage: ie if it was OK after the first 50 years we would call it permanent. 37+ years down the road it is on track.

I find that people whom are not married complain more than married couples, you don't have to get married to complain.
