Everyone has the ability to forgive; it's a choice one makes.

If a person can not forgive anyone ever; that would suggest the person has emotional scars (old) and needs help from those who really care.

If a person can forgive some but not everyone; I haven't seen any polls on this, but I believe this more common. It will depend more what the person did and how bad it hurt us or hurt someone we love and care about deeply. (I'm in this category).

If a person forgives everyone, then that person is at peace with his/herself.

The power to forgive is in all of us.

Depends on the situation.

For example: I cannot forgive a person who was a partner in a group in one of my classes for not putting their effort into the work. That is just plain lazy. Then again, the relationship between us is temporary, and it is most likely I will never see this person again. If the intent is conscious and purposeful, it will be hard to forgive.

I can forgive a person who accidently does something. There may be some cases that it will take me alot of time (like a car accident, or delayed pay check). IF it is a subtle thing like accidently spilling a drink, bumping into me, or forgetting my name, that is okay. Those things happen because it is regular and boudn to happen.

I can forgive most... only if the person did something really malicious and horrible would I possibly not be able to forgive.. but after a period of anger and hatred, I would certainly try.

Yes, so far. It is a spiritual experience and major growth to forgive others. I am not saying I always will be able to because I have not had anything truly horrific happen to me. But I'm 41 and so far so good. Definitely spiritual though.

I am usually a very forgiving person, but sometimes.....well sometimes the person doesn't deserve to be forgiven. Or maybe I should say, I will forgive them, but not forget.

I can forgive everyone--I have to live with myself. I want to live with a clear conscience-that I did good things for others and that I did my best while I was alive.
