Okay, so after all that jazz: I ended up callin and wishin my Ex on his birthday,WHAT NOW - HELP IMP. PLZ HELP
Me and my ex have had it bad, and we've got back together twice...
Okay, he actually ended on very bad terms as in: i told him somethin personal and then he told me to get the heck away from him n never call him again
Well, today being his birthday, i decided to call it quits: and just wish him... I DID NOT CAL HIM, I MESSAGED HIS FRIEND, n told the friend to wish him from my side, and he did, the guy said thanks
anyhow, I did it cause i was thinkin that since he does mean alot to me why not just message and wish him after ALL it is his birthday, and wishin him is the decent thing to do. I wanted to start 2007 on a fresh note after burryin all the grudges and provin to myself that i am capable of movin on with life
so i wished him!!
the question is: What now? What do u think will happen when i bump into him next at the local mall? how do u think he will react? did i do the right thing??
please answer nd advice, thanks

i hope that he is mature enough to say thank you. i know that sometimes after a breakup one person is ready to move on while the other may not be. as long as you do not want to get back with him then i would be friendly and civil. dont go out of your way to kiss his behind. if he never thanks you or even says hi then i would forget about it. he obviously is not ready to let the past be the past.

I think u r kidding urself if u think ur over him as it is completely obvious that ur not- best thing to do if u truly want to get over him is completely forget about him- lose the photos, anything of his u have left- get rid of it, tear up his number and find urself a hobby- keep busy and get out there and meet some new ppl- if he calls u, change the screen name to remind u of something he did bad to u, so if he does call u, u can remember y u broke up to begin with. Forget about his birthday, and for gawd sakes, DONT initiate contact, which is what u did, even though it was through a third party. If u are afraid to bump into him at the mall- go to a different mall. Its the easiest way, even though it does seem like alot of work, but u will be happy with urself if u can do it. If it hasn't worked out yet move on. He hurt you and maybe you can forgive and forget about it but, can you live with the pain again? After two tries what do you think the chances are of you two getting back together in a stable relationship? Not to good. Keep him as a friend because it's good to have friends to be your support group when you need it. As for wishing him a happy birthday that was very nice of you.

And really move on with your life.
Yes, you did the right thing because at least now you can move on into 2007 with a clear and guiltless conscience.

That was nice of you to wish him a happy birthday and to start 2007 like a mature mined person. I would not look to get back to a relationship with that person after 2 failed trys. Move on, there are better people out there, who will treat you right....

Let it go!!! If he is still into you he will let you know. If you keep bothering him you will just annoy him and he will think you are physco!! If and when you bump into him, just act casual and nice. Don't obsess over him. Get on with your life!!
