Sure, why not? Don't be silly. There is no one "republican family values" any more than there is one "democrat family values".

Wouldn't happen, but to be perfectly honest, I couldn't care less. I disagree with the lifestyle, but I'm not a Republican. I'm not a Democrat either. I'm simply a conservative.
I don't care if a person is gay or not, when it comes to politics. I ask myself if they'll be able to still lead the country effectively, if they would be fair and just, if they're decent people. If the answer to those questions is yes, then no problem, whether they're straight or not.
