maybe if you work from home, you could afford something better

I'm wondering where you were living while you were waiting for section 8 for 31 years. If you can sit there and type on your computer, and you can find your way to the Government office so you can be directed to the 'correct' building, you can get a job that will allow you to work at home.
You don't mention what your illnesses are but there certainly are not any I know of that would require a whole room full of medical equipment as well as another room for you to sleep in.
Quit whining and be grateful for what you do have. I am handicapped and have very little income, but I work and I do not depend on the Government to supply me with free housing. Or food, or anything else. It feels good to be standing on my own two feet. (no pun intended)

The answer to your problem is you are your own worst enemy. Section 8 and other emergency housing are given out through a priority system. If you want the truth without it being watered down. You have to be homeless. Take to the streets for about 31 days instead of years and see how fast you get what you need.

It's free why are you complaining, we as tax payers have to pay for you to have free housing while we have to pay our own way. If you don't like it... don't use all your enegry trying to get more from us....get a job and pay for what you want!!!! If you can't work outside the home find a job you can do at home.
PS. How is it you can afford a computer??? Am I paying for that also??

In spite of your long, rambling dissertation, you do not give any reason why an illness should qualify you to have more than one bedroom. One person=one bedroom! Sounds about right to me.

Thats it, complain about what you are given that someone else is paying for!
