You could combine both passions and be an art therapist working with either children or adults.
You could also design software - for this you need both artistic skills (or design) and cognitive psychology - which is about how people perceive, learn and interpret their surroundings.

If you want to eat make sure you choose a double major, like in whatever artistic field you are interested in, along with a major in business management or accounting or education/teaching. It looks like you may also need to brush up on your academic skills in writing English, or at least try using the spell-check. Learn a foreign language or two since all Art is international now.

well i do A level art, psychology, theatre studies and media. well first, art and psychology are completely different from eachother so u'll have no luck there.
something u could do is go into advertising. its a very broad subject and u can do many things with it such as using ur creativeness too advertise films etc. im sure ull hav 2 work in teams anyway when coming up with ideas. i think thats the best thing 4 u.

You can still combine Art and working with people. You could work in the theatre as a background painter. Or as a Fine Artists you can incorporate people into your creations.

The fastest growing segment of the art world is in graphic art specifically computer animation. You would be able to combine art with computer and direction in one degree plan. AND find a job almost anywhere!!!!!!!!!

My advise is since you have interest in drawing and film direction you can study the animation and graphics. Now this is hot cake in the world. The rest will follow.

You could become an art teacher! (that's what I aspire to be! ;)) If you work at a high school level it would be very fun to help others with a similar talent develop their skills and watch them grow into artists. and you would be interacting with the other teachers and such.
