First most incredible- Hurricane Isabel.
Second was a tornado when I was about 10- We don't normally get tornadoes where I come from so we were NOT prepared.
Third was this past summer, we had torrential rains from a dispersed hurricane & it caused more flooding than I've ever personally seen - cars abandoned in the middle of the street with water up to the top, people stranded sitting on their cars, more cars getting stalled every minute with people climbing out of them, it was pretty incredible.

Hurricane Katrina.
I was living in Jackson, MS at the time. Luckily Jackson is about 200 miles inland, so she had lost some of her punch by the time she got here. My fence was blown down, though, and several people in my neighborhood had trees blown down on their houses. We went without water and power for over a week in the Mississippi summer.
I can only imagine what it must have been like on the gulf coast.
