There are hundreds of nice and comfy budget eateries and restaurants in Singapore, which are run by Muslims - and their Arabic or Urdu names will help identify them easily.
All such hotels serve only Halal [permitted] food, and no Muslim hotel will stock liquor - as it is deemed as 'haraam' [forbidden].
To find one, just visit Yahoo! Search at :
http://www.yahoosearch.com
Type ‘Halal hotels+Singapore’ into its ‘Search’ panel, and click on ‘Enter’.
Several pages of listings giving contact details and addresses of such eateries will be presented to you. Go through them, one by one, and choose what suits your specific needs best.
Happy hunting !

2 issues if i will get 'em. the 1st is the turkey liver. Ever considering that i will remember i are turning out to be the turkey out of the freshly roasted chook. i admire liver, however oftentimes fried or as liverwurst. however the only liver i decide for roasted is turkey liver. And from a Thanksgiving or Christmas chook this is a definite take care of. Sprinkle in straightforward terms a sprint salt on it and this is an astounding thank you to start the day (additionally an rather easy breakfast pondering there's no longer extraordinarily lots of it). the 2nd is my mom's giblet gravy. this is scrumptious and is going on just about each and every thing. till final 12 months for over two decades used to spend Thanksgiving with the and there have been particularly some persons who asked approximately it. despite if she'd be bringing it or no longer. persons needed it there for the mashed potato, stuffing, squash, turkey, just about something. If something grew to become right into a sprint dry or without flavor on went the giblet gravy.

I have no idea if your bf is from Indonesia. But there are some nice Indonesian Restaurants at Lucky Plaza. One dish I would recommend is the Ayam Penyet (Hope, I spell this correctly). Very nice and the last time I went there is around $7. Two restaurant serves it, one on the 2nd floor and another on the 3rd floor.

Hope this information helps. Happy dining!

How about those restaurants in Geylang? They are air-condition restaurants and sell reasonably priced and good food. Cosy and comfortable environment too. There is one next to this coffeehouse call 'teh tarik'. Sorry can't remember the name.
