i think i have many questions about this, but it is getting almost time for me to have this done, i am 12 weeks and they are doing it at 14 weeks. i am not sure of the whole procedure, my doctor tried explaining it to me, but i think i was too nervous at the time to pay attention, has anyone had to have a stitch. if so what is the procedure like? how long are you in the hospital and are you in pain?
please help, thanks

They say that you only hear every 6 words the Dr. says. It's ok, and you can call back and ask the Dr. more about it if you feel uncomfortable. They don't mind answering questions.

My daughter has had this done three times. It is one day surgery. You go home the same day. She is a little sore afterwards but, it is managable. I am not sure about the whole procedure but, they sew you closed so you can carry the pregnancy to term. It works I do know that. My daughter has 4 beautiful kids. Don't be scared or at least try not to be. It's all worth it in the end.
