Fergie's refused post-match interviews with MOTD since May 2004 after a documentary called "Fergie & Son" was aired showing dealings between him and his agent son Jason. Since then he's always sent his assistant out to talk to them.

This has been occurring for years and shows the infantile petulance to which Sir Alex each from time to time subscribes. As I realize it, Radio 5 stay's Alan eco-friendly once criticised Sir Alex for both his crew selection or a substitution or some thing alongside those lines. From that second to this, it should be 10 years now, Sir Alex has refused interviews with the beeb.

As has been previously stated its due to a Panorama episode about his son, also Big Sam at Bolton and Arry Redknapp at Portsmouth refuse to do anything for the BBC because of the Panorama episode a couple of months back about alledged dodgy dealings. All three managers still talk to ITV and Sky.

Because at some point in the past the BBC slagged off his son, something to do with alleged dodgy transfer dealings

Maverick was right, the programme aired on BBC1 showed his son doing dodgy transfer dealings but Fergie has always insisted he and his son were innocent and were just shown in the wrong light.

some time back the beeb tried to set up his son reguarding bung payments(he's a agent for footballers) so sir alex took exception to this and refuses to speak to the beeb. same goes for sam allardyce of bolton

he said it was because he sometimes says things he regrets after a heated game,he would rather talk much later when hes cooled down a bit,
