French are better because we can do the same s**t with 10 millions $ less that you....

EXAMPLE OF FRENCH CINEMA:
A movie filmed in B&W with all shadow play about a loaf of bread rotting..while a lone "despondent" womans voice in the backround delivers a siloliquy of a lover that she lost to cholera.....
AFTERWARD:
The attendees will all stand around a coffee house pretending to be smart and having a detailed discussion of how the bread was the soul of all men and the mold was the modern society eating away...bla bla bla bla...its rotting bread for 45 minutes!!
so no...I do not think French Cinema is better....

That depends what you consider a French movie - doesn't french companies own some of the major motion picture companies ?

I have never seen a french movie so obviously they arent that good because there is no demand for them. USA has movies everywhere all around the world, its because they are good

yeah! French movies are much more interesting! like... for example... Le Miel et Les Abeilles, Au Collègue des Coeurs Brisés, Hélène et Les Garcons and also!!! Les vacances de l'Amour! this one is a must! you do have to see it once in a life time!

My favourite movie is a French one. "The fabuleux destin d'Amelie Poulain."
It is Superb.
i guess french movies show more pasion, they are like a good french wine, you drink it slowly enjoying it.

yes french movies are the best.the American are so hung up on their big budget films its stupid. i think the french are so much more realistic
