If it's not digitally protected, all you have to do is download the song onto your computer, convert it to MP3 format if necessary (there are hundreds of shareware programs that will do this for you) and then use the software package that came with your MP3 player to load the song onto your MP3 player. The problem is many songs that you download from websites like Napster or Rhapsody or Yahoo Music are digitally protected unless you pay the 99 cents to get a "licensed" copy of the song. There is no known way to "crack" the digital protection signature, so don't think you can download a program that will allow you to defeat this feature.

LEGALLY i cannot tell you where to get the song but if you SOMEHOW come across one on a P2p ( peer 2 peer ) network like kazaa, limewire etc, when you plug your mp3 player in it should appear as a drive letter on your computer usually f:\ this can be found when you click My Computer you drag your song into there either by cut and paste or copy and paste hope it helps

Legally you can go to Itunes and pay 99 cents for the song, or you can go to Rhapsody and get a montly account and get lots of songs for a montly price. It's safer (no viruses), much more legal (think p2p federal fines up to 500K! EEK!!) and it will make you sleep better at night. =)
