Almost anything 'wanted badly' turns out as a disappointment (think of childhood holiday wishes, your first love, a particular car)... you know the old saying, "The Grass is Always Greener on the Other Side of the Fence" ---how true!

The only thing I wanted badly was to be able to afford everything my daughter wanted. I wasn't able to get her everything, but what I got back was a smile from ear to ear on her face and a big hug and thank you, so I'm satisfied.

Several body piercings. Everyone else likes them but all I got was stuck with the needles. It's a pain to go through the airports now too.

Nice house, new car, steady job, money. All those things we believe we need to be happy. Satisfaction, peace, contentment only come from within. I still have some of those 'things' but now I have learned 'things' are not the source of contentment.

Mmm! well i would have to say my last job. Thoughtit would be a great and new adventure for me but found out it was harder than i thought. I stuck it out for like 4 an half months but I knew it was not for me. Now I am unemployed, and looking for work..

I got these lemons and I was so excited cuz ya know they're yellow and stuff. So I like bit into one and was like ohmigod it's so sour and THEN this random guy was totally like "Uh you should squeeze them into a glass with some sugar and water and junk." So I did and it was great! So it was good and then it like sucked and then it was totally even more better!

My children once they turned into teenagers. We all got through it though and we want them again but now they're gone and living their own lives. Parenthood is sad in so many ways.
