Never short on comic relief, American presidents have kept the word in stitches over the decades. Presdent Bush the first had his famous barfing scene when he leaned over, with TV cameras rolling, and barfed all over the Japanese Prime Minister on a official visit to Tokyo. And then there was the late President Gerald Ford, who even laughed at himself, when he wore a pair of "high water" striped pants (with his ankles showing) to visit the Emperor of Japan at the Imperial Palace. Larry, Moe and Curly had nothing on these guys.

Yes, Japan must love us (but their PM thought he was cool by showing up to see the people in a spring color jacket instead of a suit, lol). Don't forget the Kennedy "donut" incident in Berlin. Ford is also the one who fell down the steps of Air Force One. And then there's W's grammar!! They are human, after all.
Happy holidays.

I remember. Your question is . . . Japanese have their own dorky moments for instance the last Prime Minister singing "wuv me tendur" at Graceland. It is nice to see these lighter moments from such powerful men. Perhaps Bush 41 was sharing his memories from WW II by vomitting on the Japanese diplomat.

I remember the 1st but not the 2nd. I didn't know Gerald Ford had died, either.

IMO.......nobody's got nothing on this latest joker though. He's an embarrassment.

Happy New Year.

Bush then referred to the incident as 'Montezuma's revenge' to the Mexican president!
The doughnut incident didn't really happen except in the mind of someone who just about scraped through high school German.
