Bluetooth works with both wireless laptops and with wired laptops. In fact it does work with all computers provided that they have a proper bluetooth adapter, that operates on a different frequency of the wifi networks. It's a different standard with a smaller range and for a different purpose. Bluetooth is for PAN - personal area network; it works for printers, earphones, mouses, keyboards, cell phones and other small devices that one may want to plug in to a personal network.
