ITS A VERY WEIRD THING TO HAPPEN. does anyone know what causes it?

I do not know what it means.I look the same in a mirror or a photograph.

You may look different in a mirror then in a photograph because of the distortion that your ego (or lack there of) has created. People who have negative body images will often see what they hate about them selves over anything else. While people with positive body images may see what they like over everything else. There is also the possibility that the perspective or angle that you are looking into the mirror could be distorting your image...try looking at a different angle.

right and left sides are flipped! (it doesn't happen with photography; we look the same in pictures as other people see us; however, when we look in a mirror, we see a different thing). we are most commonly used to looking at our image in a mirror (or in a picture, depending on the person), and the brain gets a bit confused sometimes when switching between one and the other.

The reflection and refraction of light slightly alters the image to make it look different. The light is bouncing off of you and into the mirror. So when it comes back to you it's the opposite of what it should seem basically.

In mirror one look at body which may look different at different times. However the being within remain same.

Depends what you see in the mirror and what type of mirror you looking in. The mirror of you conscience will show you things that you might not see in our regular mirror. When your mirror will show you ugliness on the outside, you heart might probably be reflecting unmatched beauty.....(food for thought).

We look the same but the sides are different. But we do look the same (If someone is ugly, he won't look like Brad Pitt in the mirror!!)

It's funny you say that. I swear - I will be home getting ready to go out and I think I look good then someone takes a picture of me and I think "Ewww, I look like that!" I don't know what happens between leaving my bathroom and arriving at dinner that everything goes downhill. :)
